When the surgery is closed and you need a doctor in an emergency, a central answering service will accept your call and contact the Doctor-on-Call. The emergency service is for genuine emergencies and run by Newham GPs for Newham patients.

NEWHAM URGENT CARE CENTRE

The Urgent Care Centre is available for patients with minor ailments. They are open 8:00am – 11:00pm, 7 days a week including Bank holidays, they are located at Newham University Hospital Emergency Dept. No appointment is necessary.

NHS 111 is a 24-hour advice service which offers advice to patients who are unwell and require advice on health services.
