If a doctor or another member of our healthcare team believes you need hospital treatment or specialist care, they will ask you where and when you would like to go. They will then give you a unique password number and the Choose and Book telephone number, where you can then ring and book an appointment which is suitable for yourself. The receptionist will then send the referral letter electronically to the hospital.
